When i read the description, i had an idea of what it could be. When i was about to watch the first episode, it felt too forced. But when i finally sat down and watched it. By god it was just a step away from masterpiece.
Let get the little things out of the way, the animation and the CGI are good, i don’t remember it having an opining, the music is good enough. The pacing is great. The year and date thing annoy me, but i put up with it. The action is great, but that’s not what i am watching this for.
Now the characters, i want you guys to remember that i will try my best to not spoil it, but still beware.
The characters are way too good, kinda, each character feels different yet kinda of people you generally see in anime. And the main people have, obviously, plot armor.
I like the major character(The white haired girl in the poster) and how she sees what’s happening, and want to change but realize that neither she or her father who talked about this and wanted things to change, has done anything to change it.
The Undertaker(The guy from the poster, you know which one) is a emotionless type of guy. Not a big fan of him. Other than these 2, we have many others as i said, but i don’t remember their names so let’s move on to the story…
The story is good, like way too good, from the mystery behind the Legion, to the Racism of the Republic, from the relationship between the characters, to the mystery behind 86 existence. And some stupidity of the Republic, This show keeps you hooked.
The emotion toll that happens whenever someone dies, to the high hopes of the Major that she can change the world, to the reality of the situation, the fact that people from 86 will never be seen as human, and the voices of the dead. There’s so much in this show, that i can’t explain everything, or anything to you guys properly without spoiling it.
What i can say though, is to watch this, i seriously recommend this show. I loved every episode so far, this mecha show, is way too good to be missed out of.
I will see you guys soon, in this world of greatness, after all, it’s 2nd season is already announced.
